I founded my studio in 2017 to bring personal training and small group classes in Barre and Pilates to the women of Crown Heights. As I connected with more clients, I realized how many women—at all stages of life—were looking not just for fitness, but for function. Movement had taken a backseat in their lives, and they were ready to reconnect with strength, balance, and energy.
I began designing classes that addressed real-life challenges: joint stiffness, postpartum recovery, low energy, and loss of coordination or confidence. My goal has always been to create an environment where women don’t fear movement—but look forward to it. And through that process, I’ve seen women get incredibly strong—in body, mind, and presence.
Ashara Movement Studio is the evolution of that mission. Our expanded space now offers private training, small groups, and full group classes—filled with music, movement, and energy. We want you to have fun while building serious strength and regaining function. You’ll feel real progress, class after class.
We also offer special sessions for teens, event-based classes, and a full team of expert instructors. Our specialties include pelvic floor work, Pilates, Barre, body-positive fitness, contemporary dance, yoga, and more. Whether you’re returning to movement or ready to push your limits, we’re here for you.
